Terms of Service
Last updated: October 20, 2026
These terms apply when you use cuesportai.com, aiSnooker.app, the CueSportAi
apps and the AI scoring system (together, “CueSportAi”), provided by Tan Enterprises (USA), Inc. d/b/a CueSportAi, an Illinois corporation
(“we”, “us”). By creating an account, joining a club
online or buying a plan, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle
your data.
In short: cancelling and refunds
- Memberships and plans renew automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time. You keep everything you paid for until the end of the
current period, and you are not charged again.
- We don't refund the unused part of a period, except where the law requires it, or if you were
charged by mistake or twice — then we refund the charge in full.
- Questions about a charge: info@cuesportai.com.
1. Your account
- Give accurate details and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One account per person. Club accounts are run by the club's owner and the staff the club appoints.
- Under 13s may not hold an account. Minors may take part in matches and streams only with a parent's or
guardian's consent (see the Privacy Policy).
2. Using CueSportAi
Use CueSportAi for scoring, statistics, club management, tournaments and streaming of cue sports. Don't:
- enter false results or statistics, or impersonate another player or club;
- post or stream anything objectionable — abusive, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexual, violent or
illegal content, spam, or content that infringes someone else's rights — in your profile, photo, bio,
sponsors, club pages, match titles, streams or commentary, or abuse other users;
- stream or record people who haven't agreed to it, or stream content you don't have the rights to;
- try to break, overload, copy or reverse-engineer the service or the AI scoring software, or get around its
limits or plan checks.
We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Every player
profile, club page, match and page has a Report link, and signed-in members can
block a player so their profile, photo, bio and sponsors are hidden from them. You can also email
support@cuesportai.com. We review every report within 24 hours and
remove objectionable content and suspend or close the accounts of users who post it.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can close your account at any time
(see the Privacy Policy, section 8).
3. Live streaming
Whoever starts a stream is responsible for it: getting the consent of the people shown, following the venue's
rules and the streaming platform's terms. CueSportAi provides the tools; we don't control or review stream content.
4. Club memberships bought online
- When you join a club through CueSportAi, your membership is with that club: its price,
benefits and house rules are the club's. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see
or store your full card number.
- Your membership renews automatically for the period you chose (for example monthly or yearly) at the price
shown when you joined. The club may change its prices; a new price applies only from your next renewal and only
after you've been told.
- Cancel any time under Manage billing on the club's membership page. Your membership
stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
- If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it and emails you; your membership stays active only for the
period that has been paid.
- Refunds follow the summary above. A club may also refund you at its discretion.
5. Player plans
- Player plans (Plus, Pro) are bought in the CueSportAi app through Google Play (and, when
available, the App Store). The store bills you, handles cancellation, and its refund rules apply — cancel in
Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.
- During the free launch, Plus and Pro features are free for everyone. Before paid plans start, we'll give
at least 30 days' notice.
- If your club's plan includes a player plan for its members, you have it for as long as you are an active
member and the club's plan includes you.
6. Club plans, AI scoring licences and hardware
Club plans (Starter, Pro, Elite) and AI table subscriptions are billed per club or per AI table, monthly or
yearly, as quoted or invoiced. They renew until cancelled and follow the cancelling and refund rules above.
For AI scoring, three things are kept apart: the licence (your right to use the software),
what the system does on its own, and the subscription (services we provide
while you pay for them).
6.1 The AI scoring licence
- The one-time licence fee lets you use the AI scoring software on one Licensed System: the
scoring computer it was activated on, at the venue it was sold for, for the number of tables it was sold for.
The fee includes remote installation, calibration and operator training.
- The licence is perpetual for the software version installed. It does not expire and does
not need a subscription.
- The AI scoring system stays at its licensed venue. Using it anywhere else, for example at a tournament at
another venue, or scoring for another club, needs our agreement in writing. (Stream boxes can travel; see 6.5.)
- Don't copy the software to another computer, score more tables than the licence covers, or try to get
around its activation. We may revoke a licence that is used against these terms.
6.2 What keeps working on its own
- Once installed, the AI scoring system scores its licensed tables without an internet connection and
without a subscription, with no time limit: automatic scoring, the table screen, the scorer, the broadcast
overlay and replays kept on the system.
- Anything that relies on our cloud or another online service needs a connection, and, where it is part of
a plan, an active subscription: for example online statistics and player profiles, players signing in at the
table, live results, the AI coach and commentary. The spoken score announcer currently needs an internet
connection too.
- This applies to the version installed, on the hardware it was installed on. We can't promise that an old
version will keep running after you change the computer's operating system or hardware.
6.3 The AI table subscription
- The subscription is optional. It covers the cloud features of your plan (see the plan
list on the pricing page), software updates and support, including remote
help and recalibration after changes at the table, such as a new cloth, a moved or replaced camera, or a
replacement table.
- Without a subscription there are no software updates and no support, and the cloud features stop. The
table keeps scoring on the version installed (6.2).
6.4 Hardware, replacements and transfers
- We don't sell computers or cameras. You buy and own the hardware, and it must meet our
minimum requirements for the computer and the
camera. Only the camera models we specify when you buy the licence are supported for AI scoring. You are
responsible for the hardware, and its warranty is the maker's. We are not responsible for hardware
faults, or for scoring problems caused by hardware that doesn't meet the requirements.
- The licence is tied to the scoring computer, so replacing the computer or its disk, or reinstalling its
operating system, means the licence has to be moved. While you have an active subscription we move it
free of charge. Without one, moving it is at our discretion and may be charged.
- If you sell the venue or the system, the licence passes to the new owner free of charge,
provided the new owner continues a subscription plan. Tell us before the sale so we can move
it to the new owner's club account.
6.5 Stream boxes
- A stream box (streaming and manual scoring, without AI scoring) is portable: it can be used at other
venues, for example at a tournament.
- A personal stream box works only while it is claimed by the account that set it up. Releasing it from that
account resets it.
- A stream box installed from our system image needs a valid licence to run. If its licence is missing or
revoked, the box stops working until it is activated again.
Distributor, installation and support terms are agreed separately in writing and take priority over this
section where they differ.
7. Your content and data
Match data, photos and other content you add stays yours. You allow us to store, process and display it to run
CueSportAi — for example on scoreboards, player profiles, rankings and overlays, within your privacy settings — and
to use anonymised statistics to improve the service and its AI.
8. Changes and availability
We keep improving CueSportAi and may change or retire features. We aim to keep it running but can't promise it
will always be available or error-free. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date at
the top and tell account holders before the change applies to them.
9. Liability
CueSportAi — including AI scoring, statistics, ratings and handicaps — is provided “as is”. Automatic scoring
can make mistakes; the referee or match official decides any result. To the extent the law allows, we are not
liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you
paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be
limited.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, unless the law of your country gives you
the right to rely on your local law.
